Chocolate Frenchies

Posted by Sharkey

Upon further exploration around the house, Franny and I discovered something most unusual.  It was the cutest little tin filled with the cutest little contents.  And you know, anything having to do with French bulldogs is simply superb!

Well, look at this! A little tin with a picture of a French bulldog! I wonder what's inside?

I'll just carefully nudge off the lid.

All right, little dogs - bark to me!

Sharkey, why are these critters so silent?

Oh, I get it now. These fetching little Frenchies are made of chocolate and chocolate is one thing that dogs should never eat! I suppose these are for people, like Martha, who love Frenchies.

  • Good Morning F & S

Ahhhh chocolate, what I wouldn't do for a little taste. I must say you have more restraint that me, they would have been gone. My sister Sophie, the Yellow Lab, is terrible with stealing food off the counter. (if I could reach I'd do it too) Anway, one day my mom made fudge and Sophie got the tupperware off the counter and ate half of it - almost 2 pounds! Of course mom was freaking out thought she was going to die, called our doctor (such a drama queen) anyway, she didn't die but hurled a few times. Dad was soooo pissed because mom made it for him.

I do love the flavor of chocolate. When mom makes chocolate chip cookies I station myself right on top of dad while he's in his recliner. He breaks off the edges and makes sure I don't get any of the chips, they are so yummy.

Well I feel much better reading todays blogs, no deaths or remembering those who have died. In the future, keep it to one blog, I can't handle two and be expected to function the rest of the day. I have critters to chase and toilet paper to pull off the rolls, Friday I was too depressed to do anything. I was actually good all day and that was no fun.

Well time to eat my breakfast, have a good day.

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
You two should be cats; you’re so nosy. Wait girls, that’s a joke. I really didn’t call you a bad name by saying you were like cats. Anyway, I’m just as nosy myself. I know just about everything that goes on around here. My eyes and ears are everywhere. It’s a little hard to keep track of things now days. It’s been cold and every time the furnace runs, I go outside. Mommy and daddy try to keep it cool inside for me, but the heat being on makes me hot. I just love the cold weather. I need to be in Alaska or some place like that.
    Catch you later, Kirby

  • Hello Ladies,
Well another week begins, and I hear you are to be on the Martha Stewart Show today. Hope I am correct. I see the two of you are exploring inside the house. Good idea with the cold outside. You two certainly are the lady investigators. I love the looks of those chocolates. Mom loves chocolate, so I will have to tell Dad about the company to look into getting her some. Did you comfort Mama Martha over the weekend? You girls are good at that, and then if you go to work with her today, that will be an added plus. Have a great day all!!

  • ohhhh Yummmm!!!! Chocolate my mommie delia's favorite pastime, eating it I mean..she said this when she saw the pictures, "Ach meine Güte, die ich Schokolade liebt"....the little box and design of the Frenchies in chocotate are adorable also.

I like sniffing it and probably would eat it, but knowing it's not good for dogs, I assume it's not good for kitkats...

  • A girl's best friend: Chocolate!

Trust me Fran & Sharkey, be glad you can't eat chocolate.

Once on the lips, forever on the hips. :)

  • Hi Girl Friends, I just don't know how you two were able to keep from eating those chocolate Frenchies! Oh my Gosh, if they fell on the floor near me, I'm sorry but I would have to eat them. I have always figured that if something falls on the floor, then it's mine! I've got to learn to be much more careful about what I eat that's on the floor. Mom keeps telling me not to eat chocolate and other bad stuff, but I can't help myself. Hopefully, I can learn from watching you two. Love, Dudley Do Right xoxo

  • I can't believe none of you ever stole a piece of chocolate. I have, it's wonderful and I only had a little piece and didn't get sick.

Go ahead, sneak a little piece when no one is looking you'll thank me later.
