Last week, Uncle Carlos took us to visit his friend, Ann, who owns The Toy Chest in Ridgefield, Connecticut. We love toys and were very excited to go there. What Carlos failed to tell us was that The Toy Chest is full of human toys and not a store for dogs, yet we still had a great time!
1 Here we are at the Toy Chest in Ridgefield, CT. We LOVE toys and we can hardly wait to get inside. Uncle Carlos! Come on and escort us in!

3 Bonjour, Phillippe! Would it be possible to pay for a toy with doggie treats? Or perhaps we could offer our services as guard dogs?
4 What's that, you already have a guard dog looking over your shoulder? Well, he doesn't really look all that threatening!
5 Ann, the owner, is very nice. She told us that because we are so sweet, we had our choice of ANYTHING in the store!
6 Thank you so much, Ann, you're very sweet, also. But now I see that you don't carry any dog toys.

You went shopping and came out empty pawed? Not even a cute stuffed animal? We have a toy store located near us like that and they don't carry dog toys either.
I'm not feeling well today. Yesterday I wouldn't eat my breakfast or dinner so this morning mom made me some ground beef with rice. She told dad it was his fault I'm sick. Mom said he had a 48 hour bug or something like that and she told him to sleep down in the guest bedroom so she didn't catch it so I felt bad for him and slept with him, now I'm sick. I hope I feel better today or I have to see the doctor tomorrow. She worries too much, can't I just get a bug like dad? He didn't have to see the doctor it passed I'm sure hoping my bug leaves soon.
She is getting ready to catch a train for NYC to see your moma's show today. Of course I wasn't invited AGAIN but I won't let that keep me from being one of your buddies. Maybe one day I'll get to come to the show and visit.
Well I'm going to go lay down and rest.

yep Francesca & Sharkey I agree with Zoe...you came home empty pawed, and you could have chosen a beautiful Russian Nesting Doll set...well that's what I as a Kittykat would have chosen for mommie delia, she loves them.
Boy, Uncle Carlos has a job made in heaven Shleping you two sweet pups around...love your pink coats, very snazzy.

Hello Ladies,
See, you gals are still the stars!!! Uncle Carlos didn't take little fluff ball, G.K. to the toy store, he chose you. You both looked so lovely as always. I have never been in a toy store, just saw one on Home Alone in New York. They look really fun. But most of all, if little kids are there I would like to get hugs and loves from them. Hello ladies, Kirby here.
Toy stores are fine but I like the pet stores better. They have lots of things for us dogs, err, little people. When I’m out and about, I have to be careful when around people. Just the name “Chow Chow” seems to cause people to back off a little and pull their children away. I won’t hurt them but I guess they don’t know that. Mommy and daddy often tell people how to approach me without being afraid of me. I just love the children and will let them huge me. The next time you go to that toy store, don’t come back empty “pawed”.

Mom thinks Genghis Khan is too cute for words (YUCK). I think you should put him on that horse when Martha isn't looking, and get it to run like wildfire - ha! (Mom is glaring at me, so I think I'll shut up). Toy stores are neat-o...why do you think we dogs can't play with human toys? A ball is a ball, after all. (HA)
Use your highly developed, albeit innate Frenchie intelligence, girls...always get the goods! Bye!

Hi Francesda and Sharkey: I cannot believe you didn't get a stuffed animal toy or anything. Oh well, it a toys for humans only kinda place. BLAH!!! I love pup toys. You know what?? I bet I could find something to play with in that store. It would be fun to stick my nose into everything they've got, but I wouldn't tear anything apart, just look and sniff.

Hi Girl Friends, Isn't it fun to go with Uncle Carlos to those great stores that he loves to visit?! Even though there weren't any dog toys, you sure look like you had a super time at that store!!
