Searching for the perfect Xmas tree
Posted by Francesca
Sharkey and I went on an outing the other day in search of the perfect Christmas tree. We were looking for a live tree because we enjoy the fragrance so much. This year, Martha only put up tinsel trees and feather trees in the house. When searching for a tree, it's important to choose one that's not too big and not too small. Come and see what we found!
Oh boy, Sharkey! Let's go look at all of these Christmas trees! Maybe we'll find just the right one. Don't you just love that pine aroma?
Look at this gigantic wreath! I think I'll jump through.
Well, hello there, Caroling dog! My, you're all decked out for the season.
When I close my eyes, I imagine an angel singing!
I agree, Sharkey - this little girl even looks angelic.
Oh dear - something's terribly wrong with this fountain! It's kind of frozen.
Franny, I think that Martha would love this giant kugel. Did you bring lots of money?
This fire smells so smokey and good, but I know to stay back.
I've never seen snowmen that look like this - only their faces are round.
This snowman is more like it. Do you think if we sit here for awhile, he will come to life?
OK, Mr. Gnome - I'll grant your request - but just one photo!
Oh, brother.....
My feeling is that this size tree is just too small, and besides, it doesn't smell.
But this size seems just right and oh, so fragrant!
Franny, don't say a word, but I heard that Santa has some wonderful surprises for us this year.
