Francesca ponders her beauty

Posted by Francesca

Wow! Wenda Millard, Martha's CO-CEO, gave us this fabulous Faberge sculpture for Christmas. It's of me, Francesca! It's only about 5-inches tall but it's very, very heavy. Martha says it's real rock crystal and she likes to keep it on display in the dining room. I wonder why Sharkey didn't get one?

That's not nice to talk about Sharkey like that - you are both adorable. Not as cute as me of course.

  • Of course Francesca, you are indeed beautiful!! ;0)

  • F&S,

    Bonjure!

Much 'pondering' and 'wondering' going on today, huh?

Why Sharkey didn't 'get one', and how deep runs the beauty of Francesca, is now on my mind, too and I can't turn it off!

I'm willing to bet that before long S will have SOMETHING created in her honor of equal importance and be place, possibly, also in the dining room...that would be up to who?, Martha, your Mom-Boss? Martha will make it right, she always does, you know.

So I'll look forward to hearing all about the statue of honor coming your way Sharkey, and Francesca, may I add that to ponder your beauty...(and I do)...is to behold the universe!

  • Looking lovely as always Francesca!

  • Francesca,
Just because you are the older sister, does not make you any more beautiful than Sharkey!!! You both are beautiful in your own right. Don't be such a meanie.

p.s. - It's my birthday on April 11th. Do you girls want to go out and party with me to celebrate? Woofie!!!

  • Hi there Francesca: I just love the sculpture of you. My mom and dad have my pictures in frames all over the ahhhhhh, my mom calls it the French Table. Can you imagine that??? Don't you just love it when people pay so much attention to you and you get so tired from all of it that you just have to have a nap? It is rainey here today. I think I shall just take a long nap till mom and dad get home. They always need so much of my attention. Have a great day. Love, Gracyn - PS: My birth mom is a beagle and my dad I think was either an Akita or Shiba Inu.

  • Mrrrow. You sillwy wittle bowwowdoggie - you're MRRRUCH prrrttier than your mommie's statue. That lady who gave it to your mommie - it was very nice of her, cuz she knows how much your mommie loves you-n-your sister...I'm sure your mommie treasures it. At first, tho', I tho't it resembled Sharkeybarkey, cuz she has that blonde hair-n-all. Prrrease make sure that Sharkey doesn't get too awful rambunctious in the house, cuz if that wittle statue goes tumbling on the floor(?!) - well (take it from me [especially when I was young!]), everybody RUNNNN, and quick(!) - put on yer halo, and look up at yer mommie with real sad eyes! Mais oui, Frannie, tu suis tellement belle! Prrr. =^..^=

  • I know that TDWag is designed to be a forum for our kids' voices, but I cannot resist jotting a quick(?!) note today.

Francesca, the Lord has made you a beautiful little creature! I am not and cannot be just partial to kittiecats! Your beautiful little face, and those two white spots on your throat and brisket! - you are just precious! You are just simply a miniature version of my beloved childhood Boxers.

I want to hug you right here and now!

    =^..^=

  • Hi Girl Friends, I love the cute little statue, but I love you both no matter if you are black or tan. To me you are both beautiful and I want to play with you sooo much. It's rainy/snowy here today so I think I will take a nice long nap in front of my mom's warm wood stove. Love, Dudley Do Right xoxo

  • You are indeed better looking than that chilly objet d'art, nice as it is.

  • Francesca, Let's put this way: it is a beautiful sculpture of both of you! I just hope you don't want to get a hold of it. Oh my.

  • Actually, Sharkey's très très mignonne. But, like Zoe said, not as cute as I am ! - Gretchen (English bulldog who knows some French)

  • Hi there,

Kirby here. Have you played any tricks on Martha today? I got an early start this morning by telling my daddy that there was a thunderstorm coming. He got up at 5:30 to check things out. He didn't find anything at all and went back to bed. I let him get to sleep again and then I started with my act again. This time he got up and stayed up. I went back to sleep. I'll have to watch myself; you know about "crying wolf" too often won't work.

    CATch you later, Kirby

  • Hi Girl Friends, My, that sure is a beautiful rock crystal sculpture of you Francesca. It could be of both of you because you are both Frenchies, just different colors. I think that both of you are utterly beautiful and I sure would love to play with both of you. Just say when and I will be there. Love, Dudley Do Right xoxo

  • you guys must have a glitch there, can't get my post to come up :-( here is my third try...

  • Dear Francesca and Sharky,
Please let us introduce ourselves, Frannie and Dahlia, we are Frenchies born in Portsmouth, OH and currently reside in La Crosse WI. Unfortunately, we are unable to speak French with our main language being midwestern twang english. The sculpture is really nice, but did you get a toy? Seriously, let's be practical, you can't play with that thing. Hopefully you got a toy. A toy that you can chew, throw in the air and tear apart. Did you get a toy?
    SIncerely your blog friends,
    Frannie and Dahlia
