Thanksgiving with Martha, Kevin, and Alexis in NYC
Posted by Francesca
We Frenchies hope you all had a very pleasant Thanksgiving. Martha decided not to cook dinner at home this year. Instead, we went to New York City where we met up with Kevin and Alexis. We spent the whole day walking and sightseeing and visited many friends. It was fun and quite an adventure.
Here we are having our photo taken in front of a Richard Meier building in the West Village.
We rather like the building's entrance and high walls.
The building has these really neat fire hydrants, which make great perches.
This looks a little weird, no?
Hey, you over there - why are you laughing at me?
There are really long stone benches which are so much fun to run on. Good thing no one was around wanting to sit on them.
The doorman was so friendly!
We spotted this very colorful mural right up the block.
See that water behind us? That's the mighty Hudson River right nearby.
We noticed that the traffic was light for a holiday.
Those revolving doors look intimidating.
We decided to forget the revolving doors and ate our Thanksgiving meal in the car. Martha packed us a really delicious meal.
