Silly me! I just found these photos taken in early October, during the last time we went to Maine with Martha and her guests. I must have misplaced the memory card. We Frenchies take so many photos for our blog and I guess, once in a while, things can slip through a crack. 'Tsk-tsk,' as Martha would say, but I say, better late than never.
2 There's always a ton of seaweed on the beaches in Maine and Francesca loves sniffing it. It's very salty and kind of fishy smelling.
3 As you can see, the sea mist rolled in. Franny's still busy sniffing and Martha is all bundled up. It can quickly get very cold and damp on these shores.
4 Wow! Is that a dinosaur egg? Oh, I see - it's a rather large stone. They get so smooth tumbling in the rocky surf.

Hello ladies, Kirby here.
Boy it’s early this morning and I’m already up and going. It’s the time change I guess. Mommy said that it was too early to be up and to go back to bed but daddy couldn’t sleep so he is up with me. I’ll say that that big rock surely does look like a dinosaur egg too. By the way, what’s a dinosaur anyway? That’s alright, daddy has a picture of one for me. Wow, what a really big thing that is. No wonder the eggs are so large. Wait, that’s really a rock isn’t it? Wouldn’t want the mother to come around and catch you messing with her young.
Catch you later, Kirby.

Good Morning F & S
Sharkey you look great with Kevin - two cuties. Franny that seaweed looks nasty and I'm sure it smells just as bad. Mom has been putting Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil in our food and that smells pretty bad but the taste is yummy. I guess the smell of the seaweed would be similiar. I have to say my skin and coat have never looked better. No more dry skin for me
That stuff really works.
Well my Phillies aren't out of it yet. There was no way we were going to let them win the series in our house. I'm still hoping for a parade on Broad Street and not Broadway. I see Martha is a Yankee fan on her Twitter comment, tell her I won't hold that against her.
I personally think it's too late in the season to still be playing baseball. They need to shorten the season - for God's sake this is football weather. When a dog needs a coat it's too cold for baseball.
Go Phillies!!!!!

Hello Ladies,
You both look so cute as usual--and Mama Martha and Kevin Sharkey look o.k. too. Be careful along those coastlines. Tasha ate something really bad when she went fishing with Dad a few weeks back, and now she is on special medicine and rice to get rid of parasites Mom says. Have a fun day. I bet you girls are helping Mom get the Thanksgiving decorations up now. Mom and I saw you both on Martha's Show yesterday supervising the tree planting. Have a great day.
Love & licks,
Basil

Hi Francesca and Sharkey: WOW! What a fun day at the beach with your mom. Think about all those critters hiding in and around those rocks. How cool is that??? I should ask momma if we can go to the beach and smell seaweed. I don't think she would smell seaweed, but I would.
I like to walk in the mornings now cause it's light out and I can see the school buses in our neighborhood. The kids wave to me each day from the bus and say "Hi Gracie-Good morning Gracie". They are sooooo cool.
Well, it's a nice day today and I think I'll go have my sun bath now. Take care and see ya later. Love, Gracyn.

Thanks for sharing lovely photos of the dogs. That stone reminds me of a ballast stone. When they are so big and round it makes me think of the stones that were put in ship bottoms.
best wishes for your day!

Hello Friends,
Wow, you all look so beautiful. Maine doesn't look bad either! I'm so glad you found these photographs to share. Truly breathtaking.
California is such a banal place to live. There are no seasons and I'm at the beach all year long. It gets a little boring after awhile. Mom wants to move back East, but my baby brother and sister don't want to leave their friends. Mom says we will just have to buy a weekend home somewhere so we can all experience a change of seasons. Let me know if a place ever comes available next to you, Francesca and Sharkey. Maybe we can be neighbors!
XO,
Fisher Jimmy

It's always nice to see other doggies enjoying my home state! Hope you guys had a nice stay. And I really like the sweatshirts you two are wearing. They look awfully cozy.

Hi Girl Friends, Sharkey, I'm so glad you found these photos of your last trip to Maine. They are really special and the ones you took of Martha are fantastic. You girls have fun no matter where you go, don't you?! I would be just like Franny, smelling everything. I like to know what's there and who's been there. I guess I'm kind of curious like you girls are. Love, Dudley Do Right xoxo PS:I hope you are feeling happier, Mandy. I'm the kind of guy who has kitties for girl friends, too. You are number one in my book. I just love all dogs, cats and people. That's the kind of guy I am!!! Love, DDR xo
