A new Kawasaki!

Posted by F&S

The last time we were at Skylands, there were so many people because Martha was busy shooting a television segment.  Our friends at Kawasaki Corporation and Bangor Motor Sports thought it would be nice to loan us a new Kawasaki Mule to drive around the property while the TV crew was there.  You know how much we love driving and this new vehicle was really sharp.

You're right, Sharkey and I love the paint job on this one. I just hope it doesn't start raining because there is no roof cover.

The engine has a really nice sound. It seems very powerful.

You know, Martha - it's really important to turn like this when you want to go in reverse. Good to go!

  • Hi Sweet Peas,

Pix#1 Mama is looking quite fabulous & lovely.
Love pix #3 you can just see the tips of your ears/heads over the back of the seat. Pix #4- PRECIOUS!

Watch out when Mama is at the wheel she can get a little frisky you know with her driving! She usually has a driver as you know so when she gets behind the wheel you better watch out!!!!!

I want to drive too, move over and let a Chow have a go sometime.

Happy Woof Wednesday, miss you gals on Twitter.

    Until next time,

    Mrs. Bosley Chow Chow

P.S Please Sharkey & Franny send me some rain it is so hot here.

  • Good Morning F & S

Sharp looking Kawasaki you are driving - love the colors. Martha looks really happy in the picture she must of loved it as well.

Mom and I are really excited about Monday - new season of Martha. I hope you plan on making many guest appearances so we all get to see more of you (since we never did get together for a play date)

Well I have to go eat breakfast, mom's leaving early today for a meeting.

    Have a nice day.

    Zoe

  • Good Morning Ladies,
Riding the Kawasaki again, huh? But what fun to have Mama Martha driving today and you two get to see the sights. I see that neither Sharkey or Francesca did the posting today. Do you have a new friend in the house named Admin? Who is this Admin? You should really keep them away from your blog--make them get their own. They did a a good job however. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mrs. Bosley Chow Chow, what a great blog yesterday--you go girl!! Take care all.
    Love & licks,
    Basil

  • cute photos of you all! nice to know people in high places, like Kawasaki..
mommie delia loves driving the barns Kawasaki through the woods, but cats can't come along...

  • Hey F&S and Boss!

The new Kawasaki Mule is really cool! You're right about the rain though...no roof! But it's got a nice windshield! I bet the folks at Kawasaki have a roof attachment that fits onto the Mule.

But why call it a mule? Aren't mules stubborn? Or are those good people at Kawasaki emphasizing the strength and endurance (also qualities of a mule) of their new model? If so, why didn't they called it the Kawasaki Dog? You know, form that old song..."It's been a hard days night, and I've been working' like a (now if the word "mule" had been in these lyrics it just wouldn't have worked)dog!

Well, anyway, I like the lime green stripe on the side, and your mom, the Boss, looks beautiful in the drivers seat...as usual. But I'm surprised that she isn't dressed in coordinating colors that match the Mule, you know, black slacks with a lime green shirt.

Oh well, she knows what's what and like you said, she was filming for her show. But then again, she is dressed in brown and all the mules I ever knew were brown so once again, the boss is always right! :)

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
Wow you two really get all the fun. New wheels to ride around in. I just love the racing stripe and the chrome wheels. I’ll bet that thing can really fly too. Of course, the driver most likely didn’t really open it up like my daddy would have. He rode a motorcycle, at one time, for years. Now my mama had a sports car and . . ., I’d better not go there now.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Hi Girl Friends, Boy, are you two lucky to have Kawasakis at both Skylands and Bedford to drive all over the property. I'll bet you don't even need a driver's license since you only drive on the property and not the main roads. We don't have enough area on my Mom's property for me to drive any vehicle because it's only a third of an acre. Sure wish I could do all of the fun stuff you gals do. Love, Dudley Do Right xoxo
