Bus ride in the Hamptons

Posted by Sharkey

The train ride to Montauk was so exciting and we had a good time walking around the village. We're so lucky that Carlos takes us to so many places and that we get to experience so many new things. If you're wondering how we got back home from Montauk, just take a look at this!

After a very smooth ride to East Hampton, David was very nice and dropped us at the end of Lily Pond Lane. We couldn't wait to get home because we were exhausted from our journey!

Looks like you had a nice trip. I'm so glad you have your Uncle Carlos to keep you company because there aren't many pictures of you with your mama. Do you get to spend much time with her in the summer?

The sun finally came out this weekend, it was so nice :) I spent the weekend laying by the pool, chasing chipmunks and the newest edition to our yard a ground hog. He was in the water fountain and my Lab brother and sisters had him cornered. Mom had to get them in the house so she could help the little guy out, much excitement.

So where is your next adventure taking you?

  • Oh, girls, I also went on an adventure yesterday with my Mom and Dad. We visited the lovely and historic Abbeville, S.C. It was lots of fun, but, since it was 100 degrees in the shade, I didn't get to play outside much. My usual bedtime is 8:00 P.M., and Mom is very strict about it even though I usually protest a little. But last night, just like you two, I hit my bed as soon as we got home at 7:00 P.M. with no argument. I was a pooped puppy. Thanks for sharing your adventures with me, Jennifer the Beagle.

  • Man, you girls are lucky! Not only did you get to travel on the Hampton Luxury Liner, but you went first class, not steerage! You didn't talk about the drinks and cuisine, but I'll bet they were top of the line. No wonder you were exhausted when you arrived home - so much pampering, and so little time! Mom told me that the next time we travel, we'll get to sit at the Captain's Table (and I don't think she meant Captain Crunch)so I'll get to enjoy some haute cuisine, too. Double-basted liver bones, here I come!

  • whoa you pups look wiped out! and Uncle Carlos also, what a great tour guide he is...I'm glad you two did not have to travel in the baggage compartment, you would not have made it with those bus fumes from the exhaust...can't wait for your next adventure...

  • Hi Francesca and Sharkey: WOW! How lucky you two are to get to ride on a train. I like to ride in the car. Mostly I fall asleep. I bet you got to look at lots and lots of neat things. Looks like you were very tired when you got back. Ahhhhhh-there is nothing like a nap on the lawn or porch steps. Hope you two got plenty of good things to eat. What a cool way to spend the day. Love you guys! My mom still has a chest cold. She should take a sun bath like me. Vitamin D, ya know, does the trick. See you later. Love, Gracyn.

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
You have iphones? Well gee, golly, ahhhh, well what can I say? I have to ask my daddy to help me with the computer just to get onto the internet. My paws are so big that if I tried to use the keyboard it would look just awful; something like this. Awfhjiogo-ajpawehnoi0qao-]aW. Told you so. Glad to see you enjoyed your trip. I always sleep a lot when I’m on a trip and am really tired when I get back home. I usually make it into the house before falling down asleep like you two did.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Dear Francesca and Sharkey,

You girls are just too funny! WiFi and using your phone!
Glad you had such a good weekend.

  • Hi Girl Friends, You sure did have a fun time in the Hamptons and that ride on the fancy bus was icing on the cake! Have you made any more cupcakes lately?! Uncle Carlos sure is good to you two. Where do you think he will take you next? He keeps you so busy that you don't have time to miss Martha while she is away. Have fun. Love, Dudley Do Right xoxo

  • Hi girls!, And Uncle Carlos!

Tootling? What's *that*? Well whatever *it* is, it must be FUN! But by the end of that fantastic journey, all three of you looked 'tootled' out!
