My name is Dash. I'm Jack Russel/Beagle. My goal in life is to catch a squirrel. I have developed a great zigzag way of walking when Joyce take me for a walk so that I can look at every yard on both sides of the street for squirrels.Sometimes she lets me loose to chase but they get up that darned tree every time. I caught a mouse once but I didn't know what to do with it so I gave it to Joyce. She didn't seem to thrilled. I live with two Bassets. They just sleep.

Bonjour! Sharky and Francesca, you think that the skunk was troubling, when i was a puppy i was chasing a cat , i thought, than mommy said i was chasing after a possium. ha i am a city dog and now live in virginia. what am i suppose to know. But i am trying to adjust to this lifestyle, as there are a lot of different animals around in this part of the country. Have a good day! a big lick to the both of you. Woof Judy

Hi from rural NC. You guys chase squirrels. They don't chase you back. Here in farm country we chase wild Turkeys, and being Dachshunds we sometimes get chased back. We don't recommend chasing skunks. Whewww..... We had to sleep in the carport in our kennels after that misadventure.. Our favorite thing to do is chase Quail. They waddle pretty fast and will fly too. Then we come back to the house and take a long nap. It is a great way to spend the afternoon.

Well - Francesca and Sharkey made a day at the tv studio look like so much fun it nearly took my breath away to see that I could go squirrel-hunting with them!!

Wow! Your own blog! What a great idea you've had! We have some squirrels that come right up to my door (Mom's named them George and Gracie) and I bark and scare them away but, I'm not allowed to chase them. My yard isn't enclosed so Mom's afraid I'll go to close to the street. I'm a 5# Chihuahua and I live in Missouri. I can't wait to read more of your stories!

Hi, guys. I'm Hunter. I'm actually a bird dog, but since we moved to Florida there are no ground birds here so I found I like to chase the squirrels. Our squirrels here are disappearing squirrels. I chase them full speed then all of a sudden whenever they get near a tree they just disappear. I think there must be a small secret squirrel door on the backside of the trees here.I look all around the bottom of the tree but the squirrel is just gone. Then I get side tracked by my mom laughing at something. This happens every time. And if there are other people around, they laugh too. I think they know about the secret squirrel tree doors and they're just not letting me in on it. In the pictures here, Francesca and Sharkey seem to be looking UP at something. Surely the squirrels don't run UP the trees do they?? I must check this out very soon!

P.S. I mean, tell Francesca I'm brushing up on my French AND my gums!!! And OMG! Sharkey, Pardon Moi! Please excuse my inability to "viva" the difference!... I tend to do many things backwards...I also like to spell things backwards...DOG=GOD, yeah, a lot of dogs have seen that one, and I'm skirting the issue...Sharkey, I'm so sorry for thinking you were a boy...but when I sniffed your tail I didn't see anything back there...I don't have anything back there and I'm a boy...so I just assumed...("Well, it's kind of a relief...I always kept it to myself but Sharkey really is a cutie, too...oh, but Francesca...BUT WAIT!...Why don't I have ANYTHING back there??? OMG!!! I suppose THAT was the 'alteration' at the Vet's that day...what's it all mean and why are they sending the Vets off to war? I hope they come home soon...") [Wagging in full-tilt] Well! I do declare!, Sharkey Dog! Don't that beat all? You know what this means, don't you?!?...It means that you and Francesca aren't seeing each other! And I can ask her out on a date! [Sudden wag-stop] Oh, but wait...is she seeing some other lucky dog? [wag-stop&tuck] (Uh, oh...this is getting embarrassing...I've heard all about the Frenchies being very uninhibited in their free-to-love lifestyles...) Or maybe you two beauties are an item?
